|28 Sep 1942Â||USS Sculpin hit Japanese seaplane carrier Nisshin with torpedoes east of Kokoda Island, Bismarck Archipelago.|
|19 Nov 1943Â||The US submarine Sculpin was scuttled by her crew after being severely damaged by Japanese destroyers off Truk, Caroline Islands.|
