ww2dbaseThe Ancylus was converted into a tanker/aircraft transport in Oct 1943, and served in the Atlantic. She returned to merchant service after WW2, and was renamed Imbricaria in 1952. She was sold on 4 Dec 1954 and scrapped at La Spezia.
