ww2dbaseThe M4 High Speed Tractor was an artillery towing tractor use by the United States Army between 1943 and about 1960. They share some of the same automotive components as the M2 Light Tank design. The tractor also provided some space to carry to gun crew and their equipment. Later variants were equipped with a crane to assist with heavy projectiles. Some of them were given to the Netherlands, Japan, Brazil, Yugoslavia, and Pakistan after WW2 per terms of the Mutual Defense Assistance Program.

My dad was a Sargent that ran a M4 crew from Dover to the Rhine river in Germany. I have tons of photos I would like to add to your record. I even have a manifest of men, and materials. Also the movie Fury has one drive by in the very opening scene. Check it out.
