Type 5 Ke-Ho
Country | Japan |
Primary Role | Light Tank |
Contributor: C. Peter Chen
ww2dbaseType 5 Ke-Ho light tank design was nearly completed in late 1942, but limited production of tanks caused the project to be placed on hold until later in the war (most of Japan's steel was directed to naval yards to construct warships, particularly carriers). The design was finally accepted in 1945, but by this time Japan had already lost its war manufacturing capabilities, thus only one prototype was built.
