ww2dbaseCrossley armored cars entered British military service in 1923, namely with the British Army in India, but some of the 450 built were also shipped to South Africa and other Commonwealth forces. Many of them were also sold to Japan, Argentina, and Estonia. In the 1930s, the Japanese Army operated a number of them in the war against China. In the early 1940s, several saw action in the Middle East as Allied troops attacked French positions in Syria-Lebanon.
