ww2dbaseCanon de 75 M (montagne) modèle 1928 mountain guns were produced by French armaments firm Schneider-Creusot, forerunner of the modern-day firm Schneider Electric and were used by French and Polish forces. They had box trail carriages. A number of them were captured by the Germans between 1939 and 1940; they were pressed into service under the designation 7.5 cm GebK 283(f). The French 4th Moroccan Mountain Division used guns of this design during the fighting in Alsace, France between 1944 and 1945.Source: Wikipedia ww2dbase
