  • Soviet authorities in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China denied the entry of US ships into the port. The ships were carrying Chinese troops tasked with occupying the region. The Soviet officials at Dalian directed the ships to Huludao and Yingkou further up the coast, but the US ships would encounter the same treatment. ww2dbase [Dalian, Liaoning | CPC]
