- No. 94 Squadron RAF lost four Kittyhawk fighters in combat over Martuba, Egypt. Squadron Leader Ernest M. Mason's aircraft was among the four, shot down and killed by German ace Oberfeldwebel Otto Schulz. ww2dbase [Martuba | CPC]
