Great photo, it shows german guards are being robbed of their shoes.
After liberation and freeing of prisoners crime rate went sky high in german town. Thanks to the US troops.

Don't you suppose those SS boots might have gone to the camp prisoners? I know nothing about this particular event but that's what I see in this image.
