Famous WW2 Quote
"You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all terrors. Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival."Winston Churchill

PHOTO OPS: REDUX
Before and during WWII, Mount Fuji was a photo backdrop for all the Japanese aircraft
manufactures. Having a Japanese designed and
built fighter or bomber, flying over Fuji projected a feeling of National pride.
IF YOU CAN FLY OVER MOUNT FUJI YOU CAN FLY ANYWHERE OVER THE EMPIRE
During WWII USAAF B-29s on their way to bomb
Tokyo, would fly over Mount Fuji as a show of Military strength the war had arrived
at Japan's doorstep.
SHOW OF STRENGTH: OVER TOKYO
On May 23rd, the first raid of 520 B-29s destroyed 5.3 sq. miles/14km of Tokyo.
The second raid on May 25th of 503 B-29s
destroyed 16.8 sq. miles/44km of Tokyo
