Sir - by no-means an expert in these operations - but it would seem to me likely that the aircraft had already gone 'over the side' (port-side leg beyond deck) and (with the crew acting as counter-balance to raise the port-side leg) it is now being 'dragged' further onto the deck to be able to set it level again.
