COMRADE FOR THE CAMERAS:

Propaganda photograph taken on 2, May 1945, shows Russian soldier Meliton Kantaria posing for the camera, this soldier took no part in attacking the
Reichstag.

UNSUNG HERO OF THE SOVIET UNION:

During the Battle of Berlin, at 10:40pm on April 30, 1945 Private Mikhail Petrovich Minin of the
3rd Soviet Army raised a red banner(flag)without the hammer & sickle symbol atop the Reichstag and no cameras were present at the time...
