Work is proceeding as planned on construction dry dock I. One of early plans was to build Battleship ā€œJā€ here and Battleship ā€œNā€ in dock II. But ā€œJā€ was laid down in July 1939 and was laid down in Slip V instead. As shown in this July 1939 photograph work on construction dry dock II had not begun.
