The four torpedo boat slips were removed when the pier was modernized in the 1920s.
From this view you can see the main road to the shipyard. Slips VII and VIII, if necessary, could be lengthened over this road to build larger ships. The Prinz Eugen and the never-completed Aircraft Carrier "B" were both built on slip VIII.
