ww2dbaseMikio Furusho was an instructor at the War College between 1921 and 1923. After various field and staff commands, he became the commanding officer of the Japanese 11th Division in 1934. In 1935, he was appointed the Vice Minister of War, and in 1936 the head of the Army Aeronautical Department of the Ministry of War. He was made the commander-in-chief of the Taiwan District Army in 1937, commanding officer of the 5th Army in 1937, and commanding officer of the 21st Army in 1938; in the last role, he participated in the Canton Operation during the Second Sino-Japanese War. In 1939, he was appointed member of the Supreme War Council.

For some reason, when you updated the DoB, the DoD changed - it was previously shown as and should be 21 July 1940.
