ww2dbaseFleet escort ship F3 was commissioned into service in 1936. In Oct 1938, she was decommissioned for the intended purpose of conversion into fleet tender Königin Louise. In Mar 1940, she was recommissioned as Hai rather than Königin Louise. During the German invasion of the Soviet Union (Operation Barbarossa), she sustained some damage by aerial bombs on 28 Jun 1941. She was sunk at Kiel, Germany by British Typhoon fighter bombers in May 1945. Her wreck was raised in 1948 and was broken down for scraps.

Famous WW2 Quote
"You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all terrors. Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival."
