ww2dbaseAlthough rated as a battleship, Schlesien was not on par with the other battleships of WW2. She was launched in the early 1900s, and was one of the few ships Germany was allowed to keep after being defeated in WW1. During WW2, the obsolete Schlesien saw some action as a bombardment ship.
