- 47 Polish prisoners of war attempted to escape from the Oflag IV-B camp at Dössel-Warburg, Germnay; 9 would make it to neutral territory, but the remaining 38 would be captured and sent to the Buchenwald Concentration Camp for execution. ww2dbase [Dössel-Warburg | CPC]
