  • Franz Tecklenborg, Johann Simon Abegg, and Peter Ulrichs purchased 29,000 square meters of land on the north shore of the Geestemünde in Bremerhaven, Germany, next to Rickmers shipyard, for their shipbuilding company Abegg & Co.
