USS Hancock recovering aircraft in the South China Sea, Jan 1945; note three F6F Hellcat and one TBM Avenger aircraft in flight; seen from USS New Jersey	Flight deck of USS Hancock after an exploding bomb disintegrated a TBM Avenger torpedo bomber abreast of the island off Formosa (Taiwan), 21 Jan 1945. The explosion bent flight deck frame members that can be seen overhead.
