- Submarine USS Narwhal unloaded 60 tons of cargo and 37 passengers off Colipapa on Negros in the Philippines. Narwhal took aboard six adults, 14 children, one steward's mate left behind by submarine USS Nautilus on her previous visit, and five Filipino men who said they wished to become steward's mates in the United States Navy. ww2dbase [Narwhal | Colipapa, Negros | DS]
