- German President Paul von Hindenburg, with Minister of War Werner von Blomberg at his side, met with Adolf Hitler. Hindenburg told Hitler to back down politically, or he would declare martial law, which would remove powers from Hitler, giving them to the military instead. ww2dbase [Adolf Hitler | CPC]
