I WANT MY MERCEDES AND I WANT IT NOW! NO CAR MAX:

Did you know that at one time, Hitler had his eye on a new Mercedes-Benz but didn't get the needed car loan. When he became Fuhrer his favorite cars were Mercedes-Benz, as did the rest of his entourage that followed him. As far as its known Hitler never applied for a drivers license, but he had a large motor pool of Mercedes-Benz to choose from all black in color.

NOT SO NICE MERCEDES:

Did you know that Hitler also held a portfolio of Daimler-Benz stock. Mercedes-Benz during WWII had tens of thousands of workers both men and women that built the weapons of war, by forced labor workers included POWs, Foreign workers and concentration camp prisoners.

OUT OF THE SLAMMER:

Hitler spent 264 days at Landsberg Prison during that time he dictated Mein Kampf, that later became a best seller in Nazi Germany he even made enough money from the book, to buy a house it was his Berghof (residence) in Obersalzberg.

Did you know that Hitler posed again for his famous photo being released from Landsberg Prison when be became Chancellor in 1933.

FUHRER HOAX:

Above file (ww2db) photo isn't Landsberg Prison
but another building Gothic Bayertor, Landsberg
never had a Medieval Gateway like the one in the photo.
Hitler's photographer Heinrich Hoffmann traveled to pick up Hitler at Landsberg Prison and wanted
to take a photo for posterity, but was told by a guard to move along no photos here.

DOWN THE STREET GOTHIC BAYERTOR WILL DO:

Hoffmann drove to another location and stopped at Gothic Bayertor and had Hitler take the photo there. For decades the world press bought the photo and it was published. This was the starting process to create a new image for Hitler.
Heinrich Hoffmann's photo was propaganda another way of manipulation public opinion and sway the masses.

11/40 or an older 16/50 Model. The 11/40 he wanted
had a 6-Cyl engine 4-speed transmission, gray in
color with a 4-speed transmission with wire spoke wheels.
The 16/50 was a two-seat model with 6-Cyl engine, 4-speed transmission. The deal fell through and Hitler never drove his new baby home. Years later
he had a whole motor pool of Black Mercedes-Benz
cars to choose from to ride around in.

THE FUHRER'S WHEELS: WHAT'S IN YOUR GARAGE

Hitler never owned a car, but had a selection of fine Mercedes-Benz automobiles, assigned to the Reich Chancellery motor pool. Most of those eighty-eight cars built, went to the motor pool. Hitler used many of the cars so no one can really be sure what car was the Fuhrer's favorite, he also had his own SS-Chauffeur the cars were available 24/7

Vehicles were paid for by the National Socialist Workers Party, better know as the Nazis.
Most of the Mercedes-Benz staff cars were the model 770Ks, 540Ks and the big boy, the 3-axle cross-country G-4 in a hard top and convertible.

LEADER OF THE PACK:

Wherever Hitler went, he was always in the first car, most of the time standing up so the masses could see him, followed by his entourage.

I'm not an academic, or historian, but list as much information as historical fact. The one way to understand history, is to understand such a figure in historical context...

Hitler published his book titled Mein Kampf later those that followed National Socialism bought over 200,000 copies, by the time Hitler became
Fuhrer of Nazi Germany in 1933. By the end of WWII
10,000,000 copies had been published.

PEOPLE'S EDITION: The every man's copy.
WEDDING EDITION: Given free to newly married couples.
A COMPACT EDITION: Unabridged edition paper back sent by the post office to men fighting at the front, by loved ones.

SPECIAL EDITION:

In honor of the Fuhrer's 50th birthday in 1939 a
special anniversary edition of Mein Kampf was published.

ONE FOR THE BOOKS: RARE EDITION

The Gauleiter edition total production numbers are not known. Most experts agree that fifty copies were ever published.

THE BIG BOOK:

This book was big, really big 20 1/2 inches high by 15 3/4 inches wide, weight was 40lbs! which copies went to Nazi bigwigs is unknown. A few copies survived World War II one copy is on display at the Huntington Library in California, USA. This copy was presented to the library by
General George S. Patton on June 11, 1945

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!: THE SEQUAL UNPUBLISHED

Two copies of a 200 page manuscript were made for a second book only one copy was ever made public where is the second copy? another mystery of the Second World War. Is the other copy in a secret archive somewhere in Moscow or Washington to be stored for an indefinite time.

PUT IN A SAFE PLACE:

Under Hitler's orders one copy was stored in a safe in a underground air raid shelter, until it was discovered by American forces in 1945 what other items were in the safe, we'll never know.

LIFE AFTER DEATH: ALWAYS IN THE SHADOW

Decades after Hitler's death he is still known throughout the world. Strange as it may be for a mass murderer he's right up there with Jesus Christ, Buddha, Mohammed and Stalin. Love him, respect him, hate him he will not disappear WWII changed the world because of him, 100,000,000 people died and millions more suffered and died from wounds and injuries decades afterward.
