John Fraifogl in above photo was my deceased father's oldest sistger son. My sister and I found a newspaper areticle from Mansfield, Ohio paper my dad lovingly saved of his nephew and my cousin John. if needed can locate and Xerox. John did wish to be a private man, though. and private citizen. Very rarely talked of his hellcat days but know there was a pride there of his patriotic feeling to our USA.

So my grandfather was a Navy signalman in WWII. He died in 2001 and, due to my interest in the military and WWII, he left me a series of ten developed photographs he took during his service days. This IS one of his photos. Totally crazy. I saw this linked on Facebook and almost fell out of my chair. We never found the negatives so perhaps he donated them but did not tell us. I have no idea but please contact me so we can discuss or I can get in touch with you. I have scans of all the photos, as well, and would be happy to share. Heck, they may already be here and I will scope around and see. Thank you!!!
