ART HISTORY 101: Berlin - A watercolor painted by Adolf Hitler of Munich's old City Hall a century ago, sold for 130,00 euros about $162,000 dollars. It is one of the 2,000 paintings made by Hitler. CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY: The painting includes an original bill of sale and a letter signed by Hitler's adjutant Albert Bormann, brother of Hitler's secret secretary Martin Bormann. FINDERS KEEPERS: After World War II a number of Hitler's paintings were captured by American and Allied Forces, some of this captured material is still held by the U.S. Government.
