ww2dbaseThe German Navy issued the order for the construction for Type XXI submarine U-3057 in Nov 1943, but the keel was not laid until Feb 1945. Shifting priorities and regular bombings of the city of Bremen, Germany meant that the submarine would not be completed before the end of the European War. She was ultimately broken up on the building slips.
