ww2dbasePierre Daye was born in Schaerbeek, Belgium in 1892. During the war, he was a journalist for two newspapers, Nouveau Journal and Je suis partout, both of which were pro-collaborationist and pro-German. He was also a shareholder of the pro-German newspaper Editions de la Toison d'Or. In Dec 1946, he was found guilty of treason and was sentenced to death. He fled to Argentina and became a part of the organization that migrated Belgian war time collaborators to his adopted country. He also worked as the editor of an Argentinian state owned newspaper. He passed away in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1960.

18 Dec 1946 Pierre Daye was sentenced to death as a collaborator by the Brussels War Council in Belgium.
17 Jun 1947 The government of Belgium submitted an extradition request for Pierre Daye to the government of Argentina.
