USS Sculpin Operational Timeline

4 Feb 1942 US submarine USS Sculpin attacked Japanese destroyer Sukukaze at mouth of Staring Bay near Kendari, Celebes, Dutch East Indies, causing damaging to the destroyer and killing 9 of her crew.
28 Sep 1942 USS Sculpin hit Japanese seaplane carrier Nisshin with torpedoes east of Kokoda Island, Bismarck Archipelago.
19 Nov 1943 The US submarine Sculpin was scuttled by her crew after being severely damaged by Japanese destroyers off Truk, Caroline Islands.
