My father Otto Seid was born 1913 in Graslitz. In december 1938 he managed to come to Sweden but his father, mother and brother stayed in Graslitz. He died 2013.

The car is a rare Mercedes Benz G4 (W31) Gelaende 3-axle staff car. Fewer than 75 of these cars were ever built. The model became familiar to US audiences as the car going through the gates in the opening credits of Hogan’s Heroes.
