    Two Afrika Korps soldiers with an Maschinengewehr MG 34 general-purpose machine-gun. Photograph shows the weapon in the heavy machine-gun role, on a Lafette 34 tripod, weapon also mounts indirect-fire sight. Calibre 7.92mm, rate of fire 800-900rpm, magazine capacity 50 or 75 round drum, or 300 rounds belt, range 1,312 yds.
