ww2dbaseF1 was the lead ship of her class of ten fleet escort ships. She entered service in 1935 and was decommissioned in Apr 1939 to be rebuilt as fleet tender Libelle. In Jan 1945, she was renamed Jagd. She was taken over by the United States after the war and was scrapped in France in 1947.
