FILE PHOTO: SHOWS A CHINESE SOLDIER PROFILE SHOULDERING A ZH-29 RIFLE. THIS WEAPON WAS A GAS-OPERATED, AIR COOLED, 25 ROUND MAGAZINE FED RIFLE, THAT USED THE 7.92x57 MAUSER OR THE 7x57 MAUSER ROUND.
LIKE ALL CZECH WEAPONS SOME WERE USED BY THE GERMANS HOWEVER, DURING THE OCCUPATION ZH-29
PRODUCTION FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER WAS NEVER RESUMED. FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THE CZECH ZB-26 LIGHT MACHINE GUN, CLICK ON PHOTO
