HEINKEL He111 SALVAGE:

During WWII, both Axis and Allied salvaged downed aircraft, or any other type of military equipment. Heinkel He 111 was assigned to Stab/St.G 3 check out the emblem below cockpit a shield with a white mosque on sand with a palm tree dates to early 1942 when this unit first arrived North Afrika aircraft assigned were He 111, Ju 87 and Bf 110
