- Dr. Graeme Warrack, a RAMC Colonel with 1st Airborne Division, who had been in hiding after the last Arnhem casualties in the Netherlands were transferred from hospital to POW camps, escaped and eventually, with the help of the Dutch Resistance, made his way back into the Allied lines. ww2dbase [AC]
